The Keeper of the Seven Keys

"You’re the Keeper of the Seven Keys

That lock up the seven seas

And the Seer of Visions said before he went blind

Hide them from demons and rescue mankind

Or the world we’re all in will soon be sold

To the throne of the evil paid with Lucifer’s gold"

This drawing is basically a mash-up of several Helloween album covers: the three Keeper of the Seven Keys albums (part I, part II, and The Legacy), Master of the Rings and The Time of the Oath ~ the five albums that either mention the Keeper or have him on the cover.

I decided to do a drawing based on the Keeper, since I think the whole story of The Keeper of the Seven Keys is phenomenal.  Listening to the Keeper albums, the music never ceases to amaze me.

Media used: various Faber Castell pens (for the outlining) and colored pencils.
This took me about six hours I'd say.
